Located on the shores of Lake Hamana, this botanical garden offers a chance to enjoy over 3,000 plant species blooming no matter what the season across its expansive grounds of some 300,000 square meters.

The park is particularly popular in spring for its wisteria, roses, irises, and hydrangeas as they come in bloom in succession. One unmissabel highlight is the Cherry and Tulip Garden, open from late March to mid-April, where 50,000 colorful tulips and 1,300 cherry trees put on a world-class floral display. The same season is also a great time to swing by after hours for the cherry blossom illuminations.

Step over to Crystal Palace, the large greenhouse with themed floral displays year-round and the fountain pond outside, complete with music-timed water show every 30 minutes. For those with children or limited mobility, the Flower Train provides a 15-minute tour around the park, operating only during daylight hours.
