In the historic warehouse district of Koedo Kawagoe, the Starbucks on Bell Street, located along a cobblestone path by the towering "Time Bell," is one of the "Regional Landmark Stores" that showcases the culture and allure of various regions in Japan.

What first catches your eye is the exterior, which sets it apart from typical Starbucks with its green logo. Designed to pay homage to and integrate with the historic streetscape, the store features a tiled roof and lattice work made from Saitama cedar, creating an impressive Japanese-style appearance. The bar counter, inspired by the Edo-period black and white plaster used in Kawagoe's warehouses, and bench seats made from the local traditional fabric "Kawagoe Touzan" add to the warm and soothing atmosphere of the wood-centric interior.

The store features a central courtyard and a terrace at the back, facing the garden, allowing customers to enjoy the bell's chime and the changing scenery of the seasons while relaxing over coffee.
