Towada Lake Marine Blue

Operated by the Towadako Lakeside Hotel, this is the only café along the lakeshore facing both the main road and the lake. Here, you can enjoy light meals and drinks while taking in the magnificent view of Lake Towada.

The café’s signature dish is its apple pie, made with plenty of locally grown Aomori apples-mainly the “Fuji” variety, along with other seasonal types chosen for their flavor at the time. Each pie is carefully handmade and baked to perfection, offering a simple, homey taste that lets the natural sweetness and aroma of the apples shine through. The menu also includes apple curry, apple sherbet, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages.

The cozy log cabin-style interior, built with Akita cedar and Aomori cypress, has a warm yet airy atmosphere. Terrace seating is available on the pier that extends out over the lake-an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the scenery on a fine day.
