Kinosaki Onsen Shinonomesou

Experience supreme relaxation year-round with crab dishes and the renowned hot springs unique to Kinosaki Onsen.

Last update :

Kinosaki Onsen, boasting approximately 1400 years of history and tradition, is one of Japan's premier hot spring destinations. The ryokan at Kinosaki Onsen impresses with its traditional three-story wooden structure that harmonizes with the scenic town. It consists of a main building and an annex.

All 17 rooms exhibit a pure Japanese style, offering various options including sunken kotatsu (heated tables) and rooms with beds, allowing guests to choose based on preference and occasion. Some rooms are wheelchair accessible and others are spacious enough for large groups, with room sizes up to 20 tatami mats, all renowned for their comfort.

The culinary highlight is undoubtedly the crab. Kasumi crab is served from spring to autumn, and Matsuba crab in the winter, allowing guests to enjoy locally caught, exquisite flavors year-round. Besides crab, the ryokan selects high-quality ingredients like pesticide-free vegetables from their own farm and the richly flavorful Tajima beef.

The hot springs feature chloride springs known for their potential benefits in treating neuralgia and aiding in recovery from fatigue. Guests can relax in a cave-like "rock bath" surrounded by huge boulders sourced from around the country, or enjoy the serene "bamboo bath." After soaking in the indoor baths, guests are encouraged to try the town's public baths for a truly relaxing experience.
