Tazawako Sauna

This facility lets you experience a lakeside sauna on the shores of the scenic spot “Lake Tazawa,” selected as one of Japan’s 100 Scenic Views. After enjoying a sauna session in a staff-set-up tent sauna, you can cool down in nature’s cold plunge, Lake Tazawa. The white sand beach that spreads along the shore won’t hurt even when walking barefoot, and unlike the ocean, it’s nice that your skin doesn’t feel sticky.

There are two sauna sites, BASE1 and BASE2, and each group gets 2 hours and 30 minutes. The tent sauna can reach temperatures up to 248°F and is a fully private space, so you can freely enjoy it, adjusting the temperature by managing the firewood and doing self löyly. Since swimsuits are required, it can be used by various groups such as families, couples, and friends.

After the sauna, enjoy a relaxing moment with the in-house roasted “Sauna Blend” coffee provided for the number of people in your reservation. Also, at BASE1, which has an attached restaurant, you can enjoy original craft beer and the special “gyoja-ninniku sausage.”
