Snow Peak Headquarters Campfield

Located in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture, the Snow Peak Headquarters Campfield is directly operated by the renowned outdoor gear manufacturer Snow Peak, whose headquarters are based in the area. Nestled in rolling hills, the campsite offers sweeping views of nearby Mount Awagatake and Mount Sumon on clear days.

The campsite features a variety of options, including free camping sites, powered sites, group sites, and mobile houses co-developed with architect Kengo Kuma. For beginners, "no-gear camping" and "no-gear BBQ" plans are available, allowing visitors to enjoy camping without bringing their own equipment.

The site is well-stocked with rental items, giving campers the opportunity to try out Snow Peak's popular gear firsthand. There’s also an on-site shop where visitors can purchase Snow Peak camping gear and apparel. If you fall in love with the gear during your stay, you can take it home right away. Additionally, the campfield houses a museum displaying around 200 past Snow Peak products, along with exclusive museum merchandise.

Other amenities include a natural hot spring with a sauna, as well as a restaurant where visitors can savor the rich water and produce of the Shimogou region. The facilities are perfect for both overnight stays and day trips, making it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
