Slow Life Resort Ichigo no Sato

A tourist farm for drop-in harvesting, fun and sweets with Strawberry Kingdom berries from Tochigi and more.

Last update :

Located in Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture—Japan’s top strawberry producer and known as the “Strawberry Kingdom”—Slow Life Resort Ichigo no Sato is a tourist farm where visitors can enjoy not only strawberry picking but also a wide variety of other harvest experiences. The site is also known for its excellent food facilities, including a restaurant, café, and sweets workshop.

Strawberry picking is by reservation only, with various plans available. One of the most popular is the “Tochiaika & Skyberry Tasting Plan,” complete with a flight of two premium Tochigi-grown strawberry varieties: Skyberry and Tochiaika.

In addition to strawberries, seasonal fruit picking such as peaches and grapes is also available, making it a fun destination year-round.

The farm also features a café and restaurant where visitors can take their time to enjoy a meal. The buffet-style restaurant Ichigo Ichie offers an all-you-can-eat experience with dishes made primarily from local, handmade ingredients. At the café Ange Fraise, you can savor Italian cuisine such as stone-oven pizzas and chewy fresh pasta. Both venues serve desserts made with freshly harvested seasonal fruits from the farm.
Don’t miss the chocolate specialty shop Carns Choco, where you can indulge in chocolate sweets that highlight the flavor of their delicious strawberries.
