ISHIYA "Mifuyu" Series

Another signature product from the confectionery maker behind Shiroi Koibito, one of Hokkaido’s most iconic souvenirs. This crispy, light mille-feuille features fragrant pie pastry folded into as many as 144 layers per piece.
Mifuyu was created around 20 years ago as a follow-up to Shiroi Koibito, expressing the beautiful winter scenery of Hokkaido. However, because the chocolate melts in summer and its signature taste cannot be preserved, sales are suspended during the summer season. Instead, Mifuyu Kogareyuki was launched in 2025 with the hope that people could enjoy it deliciously without worrying about melting in hot weather.

Mifuyu, sold from October to April (planned), comes in three flavors: blueberry, caramel, and marron. Each one has its own distinct taste, thanks to the carefully crafted combinations of filling and chocolate. Mifuyu Kogareyuki, sold from May to September (planned), is available in three flavors: strawberry, orange, and apple.

With its lovely package design expressing the cool, crystal-clear feeling of winter, it is loved as one of Hokkaido’s most popular signature sweets.
