Nogata Tulip Fair

A major spring event held at Onga River Riverside Park (Nakanoshima), located in front of the Nogata City Hall. Around 150,000 tulip bulbs, planted with the help of local volunteers, bloom in vibrant colors, heralding the arrival of spring.

Red, yellow, pink-tulips of every shade spread across the grounds like a vast sea of flowers. With good timing, you may even catch the stunning combination of tulips in full bloom alongside cherry blossoms or fields of rapeseed flowers.

On weekends during the festival period, the venue hosts stage performances by local groups. The spacious lawn area also makes it perfect for picnicking on a blanket or taking a leisurely stroll through the flower fields, enjoying a peaceful spring day.

Although the Tulip Fair is held annually from late March to early April, the tulips remain accessible for viewing even after the event concludes. They typically stay at their peak through mid-April.
