The air up in the mountains is super fresh and a bit cool—perfect for escaping the summer heat! The ride from the base to the top isn't long, but the view is amazing. On clear days, you can even see Mt. Fuji!

You can drive straight up to the parking lot on the mountain, but there aren't many spaces available. It's a short walk to Senkoji, and you get a great view of Onomichi City. Definitely a spot you shouldn't miss.

You can see what life was like for Japanese people in the old days here. The iron office desks and printing machines especially brought back a lot of childhood memories for me.

The spring water is super clear and clean. It tastes really sweet, and I bet it would be fantastic for making tea.
