  • This place is gorgeous! The whole area has that minimalist Japanese vibe with a relaxing hot spring resort feel. It's super soothing and peaceful. There’s more than just the hot springs—there are restaurants and dessert shops too. The desserts supervised by Hiroki Tsujiguchi are absolutely delicious and look amazing!

  • Highly recommended! Great spot for families or science lovers. There are interactive exhibits on space, astronomy, and natural science, plus a planetarium where you can watch the stars. Lots of hands-on activities—not just looking at displays, but actually getting involved. It's really fun and educational.

  • This outlet is seriously a shopping paradise! The discounts are super tempting—you'll end up buying so much!

  • It's a really unique arch bridge with stone piers and a fully wooden structure. The construction is quite complex, and it's known as one of Japan's three most famous bridges.

  • The earthquake damage here seems pretty serious. When I visited, only a small part was open to the public. I guess the Japanese are really careful when it comes to restoring historical sites, so it might be a long time before everything is fully open again.
