  • Just like the areas around temples in Taiwan are packed with delicious food, the road to the shrine here is no different. Temples and shrines are always great places to experience the local culture.

  • Shukkeien Garden is like a peaceful oasis hidden in the middle of Hiroshima city. If you're visiting Hiroshima, you definitely have to stop by and enjoy a relaxing half-day here!

  • I've raised rabbits myself, so I was totally charmed by all these cute, fluffy little animals here. Spending the day soaking in the hot springs and watching the rabbits was so relaxing and healing!

  • Saijo Sakagura Dori has seven sake breweries, each making their own sake. Most of them offer tastings too—it's a paradise for sake lovers! There's one called 'Kamotsuru' that serves a special sake hot pot, which is absolutely delicious. You have to try it if you visit!

  • It's great to have educational trips with kids during winter break. The Yamato Museum introduces the world's largest battleship from WWII, and it's also a fantastic place for children to learn!

  • There are plenty of brands here, including some luxury ones. The fresh food supermarket is definitely worth checking out.

  • This is Japan's tallest pedestrian suspension bridge, and the views all around are actually pretty nice.

  • A lot of shops nearby sell spicy lotus root. The texture isn’t bad at all.

  • You can try the lavender experience here in July.

  • It's super convenient since it's directly connected to Osaki Station!
