  • At the DUSKIN MUSEUM, you can actually try making your own donuts! It's a great spot for both adults and kids.

  • On the first floor, there's a big shop selling traditional crafts. Upstairs, you'll find an exhibition hall with officially designated Kumamoto crafts. Highly recommended!

  • This Japanese architecture master never fails to amaze me with his designs. He's incredibly dedicated, constantly overseeing projects all over Japan.

  • Inside the Tottori museum, there's a pear tree that's over 70 years old! They also have displays of different pear varieties, and every day you can try three kinds of pears—eat as much as you want! 🍐 It's a great spot to bring kids. 👍

  • I didn’t know you could ride these cute scooters along the Yumeshima Kaido! Cruising by the ocean breeze and exploring the little island roads really made me feel so happy.

  • Marukin Soy Sauce has both a warehouse and a factory. Starting from the factory, there are all kinds of diagrams explaining how soy sauce is made. I really learned a lot about the process. It was awesome!

  • The somen noodles on Shodoshima had such a unique texture and flavor—so tasty! You definitely have to try the DIY experience class here!!!

  • Shodoshima Olive Park was a filming location for Kiki’s Delivery Service! I kept jumping with the magic broom until I looked like I was flying—so funny, and such a memorable spot. Highly recommend visiting!
