  • It's not a major tourist spot, but it really feels like a hidden gem that Tokyo has forgotten.

  • The beef offal hot pot here is insanely delicious! The broth is super rich but not greasy at all—one sip and I was hooked.

The sunset here is unbeatable. Watching the view of Suruga Bay makes you never want to leave. Getting here is a bit of a detour, but once you arrive, it totally feels worth it. I loved how peaceful and far away from the crowds it felt.

  • The moment I stepped onto the boat, I was like, "Wow, it's a whole world of ice and snow out here!" If you've never seen drift ice up close before, it's honestly breathtaking.

  • The prices aren’t exactly cheap, but you can really feel the quality and class here—it’s not like your average market at all.

I saw so many limited-edition items here—stuff you just can't get in Hong Kong!

Sensoji is one of the few places in Tokyo where you can still really feel that classic Japanese vibe.
As soon as you walk through Kaminarimon, the scent of incense and the sound of the crowds make it feel like time slows down.
You’ll see lots of girls in kimono taking photos—it looks beautiful and the atmosphere is great.
Whether it’s morning or night, Sensoji is a spot where you can just stroll around and soak it all in quietly.

The meat slices are fresh and nicely cut. Some reviews mention the fat is well distributed, making it smooth and pleasant to eat.

  • The vibe here feels just like walking through a small alley from Japan's Showa era—so much character! There aren't a ton of shops, but each one is pretty unique.

  • The set ticket is cheaper than buying everything separately, and soaking in the hot spring after hiking is such a great deal! Just keep in mind it gets really crowded on weekends, especially during the fall foliage season, so you might have to wait to get in.
