This is the biggest airport in Hokkaido, so if you love exploring airports, you're in luck! There's a four-story shopping street in the domestic terminal and duty-free shops in the international terminal, so you'll never get bored waiting for your flight. Even if you're not flying, it's worth a visit just to check it out!

There are lots of hot spring inns to choose from here. Plus, Akiu Great Falls is recognized as one of Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls and is a national scenic spot, so it's definitely worth a visit!

This place totally changed my idea of what a science museum could be. There are so many hands-on exhibits where you can really learn by doing. Our kids had a blast! The planetarium is huge and has tons of displays—if you're into astronomy, you'll absolutely love it!

They look really nice, but I don't think I'd actually use them!

Japanese wagashi are so beautiful, delicate, and delicious! The special yokan here is amazing. Since it's hard to find yokan in Taiwan, I always buy some as a souvenir when I visit. It's the perfect match with a cup of tea!

A few years ago, Black Thunder chocolate was super popular in Taiwan. I bought the bars back then, but I didn't really get why everyone was so crazy about them. They taste pretty good, but I didn't understand the hype. Still, I always pick some up as souvenirs because it's a fun topic to share with friends and family—like, 'Hey, this is Black Thunder!'

I've been eating these since I was a kid, and now even my kids love them!

You can get Shiroi Koibito, Rokkatei, and Royce Nama Chocolate all in one stop here!

Great place to shop with tons of restaurants to choose from! It's super convenient, especially since it's connected to Shibuya Station!

Seeing the noren at the entrance and the tiny shops with just 5 or 6 seats, plus the super friendly owners greeting you—it's just like scenes from Japanese dramas. Now I can experience it myself, and it's honestly so exciting!
