Standing on a seaside cliff, the waves have carved out lots of caves here, and the shrine is actually built inside one of them. It's really unique!

If you come to Shimane, you have to visit this shrine. It's the most famous place in Japan for praying for good relationships, and the giant shimenawa rope, which weighs five tons, is a must-see.
