Kazurabashi Bridge (Fukui Prefecture)

Ikeda Town in Fukui Prefecture is home to abundant nature and beautiful satoyama countryside scenery. Spanning the Asuwa River, where trees seem to arch overhead, is a rare suspension bridge made from kazura vines, measuring 44 m long, 1.8 m wide, and 12 m high.

The surroundings feel very natural, with not too many man-made facilities, so the whole place has a simple, rustic vibe. It looks great in photos if you want something raw and untamed rather than dreamy.
It might be a bit challenging for older visitors or anyone afraid of heights.

Sanuki Manno National Government Park

Located beside Lake Manno, Japan’s largest irrigation reservoir and a designated national scenic spot, Sanuki Manno National Government Park is the only national park in Shikoku. Spanning roughly 350 hectares, the park is a paradise of seasonal blooms-from tulips and nemophila in spring to hydrangeas and cosmos through autumn, making it a must-visit for budding flower fans.

The lawn is beautiful and really clean.
Perfect for a walk, just zoning out, or having a picnic.

There are flowers in spring and autumn leaves in fall, so if you come in the right season, it’s a big plus.
But the park is huge, so make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, or your feet will complain first 😂

One of the largest outlet malls in Hokkaido, this expansive complex brings together around 170 stores spanning a wide range of categories-from high-end fashion and well-known kitchenware brands to sports gear and drugstores.

It’s really huge and there are tons of brands.
You can easily end up spending half a day here without noticing.

The layout is pretty easy to walk, and there are plenty of food options.
When you get tired, there are places to sit and rest.

The discounts feel pretty good, especially for coats and sports brands — really worth it.
But when it gets crowded, it can feel quite packed, so I’d recommend coming on a weekday for a more comfortable visit.

Lake Sagami

This manmade lake was finished along with the dam in Sagamiko, the northwestern part of Kanagawa Prefecture. The lake was completed when Sagami Dam was built in 1947. This lake was the first built by a dam construction after WW2, that was still called a lake while being manmade. Today you’ll find cruise boats, rowboats, paddles boats and more.

Even though it's called a lake, it's actually formed by a dam. The cool summer weather makes it really comfortable to enjoy the natural surroundings.

There are tons of souvenirs to buy here, and lots of gift shops, including a Disney Store.

Aburatsu Shopping districts

Aburatsu Shopping Street used to be the largest shopping street in southern Miyazaki Prefecture, but it has recently declined as the number of pedestrians declined. However, a full-scale revitalization effort began in 2013, and the town, which had been a shuttered street, has made a spectacular comeback. In 2016, it was selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry as one of the "HABATAKU Shopping Districts 30".

There weren’t many people on the street, so it felt a bit quiet and lacking in energy.

The ingredients were fried super crispy with a thin, non-greasy batter. The chef keeps bringing out new dishes until you say stop.

A lot of flights arrive at the same time, so the passport control line for foreigners was really long. It took almost two hours to get through immigration. I've been to Osaka many times, but this issue never seems to get better.

The restaurant occupies all 3 floors of the building and you can experience the retro feel of a Japanese popular izakaya. The pride of the restaurant are dishes such as tendon skewers, boiled until very soft “Dote Suji Kushi”, fresh “Kisennuma Shark Heart Sashimi” which are perfect with Japanese sake.

The place is super busy, so food takes a while to come out, but you can smoke here. Even if you’re dining alone, you can still have a great time.
