It's amazing how well they've preserved these historic buildings, especially being so close to the sea. Not an easy feat!

This place is definitely a center of faith for locals. The grounds are pretty spacious, and walking in from the big torii gate along the main path, you can really feel the shrine's solemn atmosphere. The dragon carving on the purification fountain is super detailed.

You can really see the marks of time here. There are lots of izakayas and shops around, making it a really fun area to explore.
