I wasn't familiar with GeGeGe no Kitaro before, but visiting here helped me learn its background. I also found out that Shigeru Mizuki took part in the war and loved adventure, traveling to many countries to collect unique stories and customs. No wonder the Kitaro yokai stories are so vivid and fascinating!

Tottori Hanakairo is one of the largest flower-themed parks in Japan. You can see the majestic Mt. Daisen right from the park! There are so many kinds of flowers—it's absolutely beautiful. Plus, there's a free shuttle bus to and from Yonago JR Station, which is super convenient.
