This building is over 100 years old. The architect is the same one who designed Tokyo Station, and you can really see the similarities in the exterior.

Lake Akan is seriously gorgeous! The surface of the lake is so still it looks like a mirror, and paired with the hot spring, it feels like paradise.

The walkway connects directly to Kansai Airport, so you don't have to worry about the weather at all. Super convenient!

There are so many visitors, especially on weekends—it gets really crowded. But it's still worth checking out since it only happens once a year.
