The snowy scenery here is absolutely gorgeous. The staff were really friendly and welcoming when they heard we were visiting from Taiwan.

Winters in Tohoku are seriously cold, but thankfully the train has a heater—and it's an old-school charcoal stove! You can even grill squid on it and enjoy some sake 🍶. Such a nostalgic vibe.
