The smell when it hit the table should be illegal. Super strong garlic and pepper aroma, with the skin fried to a golden, slightly crispy finish. The meat inside is still fairly juicy, and from the very first bite you can tell it’s on the rich, heavy-flavor side.

Whenever I visit a tourist spot, I always stop by a Michi-no-Eki because you can count on finding local food and specialties. Here, you get to enjoy fresh seafood while taking in the beautiful ocean view. The best part is picking your favorite seafood and grilling it yourself—such a treat!

The main building didn't really catch our interest, so we ended up trying the annex bathhouse. It's a bit pricier, but once inside, we found the space comfortable, with fewer guests and even a semi-open-air hot spring area. The whole environment was super relaxing. Highly recommended!
