First, enjoy strawberry picking, where the fruits have grown with the crisp air and water of Chichibu, giving them a rich taste. After quenching your thirst with the strawberries, fill up with a BBQ.
1:30pm Experience the Majestic Winter Scenery at Ashigakubo Icicles
Located about a 10-minute walk from the neighboring Ashigakubo Station (SI34) is Ashigakubo Icicles, a sheer winter spectacle that’s ready to behold. Typically open to the public from early January to late February, these grand icicles stretch about 30m in height and 200m in width. Get lost in a magical world of ice created by the wonders of nature.

6:00pm A Soothing Time at Toshimaen Niwa no Yu, Warming Both Body and Soul.
The final stop on this model course is a detour to Toshimaen Station (SI39) on your way back to Tokyo's city center. The breathtaking 1,200 tsubo (about 4,000 square meters) Japanese garden designed by renowned landscape architect Kenzo Ogata is a must-see!
