“Nasu Animal Kingdom" is home to approximately 600 different species of animals on an expansive site about 10 times the size of the Tokyo Dome. The animals are rare even by national standards, and can be enjoyed by children and adults alike.
The grounds are divided into "Kingdom Town" and "Kingdom Farm," and the free Wannyan Bus connects the two areas. Kingdom Town" is an indoor facility that focuses on small animals, and visitors can enjoy interacting with them. Visitors can also enjoy performances by fur seals at the Animal Stadium and Aqua Stage. At the "Kingdom Farm," visitors can interact with alpacas, sheep, camels, horses, and other animals in a natural setting. Bird performances are also available here.
Another point of interest is to see rare animals such as the manul cat, sandhill cat, and grouse. In addition, in the "Tropical Forest," visitors can see sloths and common marmosets in a near-wild environment without fences.
With a wide variety of restaurants and stores, it is a popular spot in Nasu where you can enjoy yourself all day long!
