Kamakura Music Box Museum is in front of Hasedera temple, a 5-minute walk from Hase Station, which is home to the Great Buddha of Kamakura. In front of the shop you’ll find a 3-meter-tall mechanical clock that plays music box melodies every hour from 9am to 6pm. The shop has over 6,000 music boxes across 1,000 types, both large and small, and it even has exclusive music boxes themed after hydrangeas and the Great Buddha that you can only find here in Kamakura.
