Shibamata Park is located southeast of Shibamata Taishakuten, whicn you can reach after taking the Shibamata Taishakuten Sando from the Keisei Kanamachi Line’s Shibamata Station. The comprehensive park integrates sites such as the “Katsushika ShibamataTora-san Museum,” where you can experience the world of Japan’s national film “ The Otoko wa tsurai yo (It’s Tough Being a Man),” the “Yamada Yoji Museum,” which expresses the film director Yamada Yoji’s passion for filmmaking, “Yamamoto-tei” with its elegant Japanese garden, and the Edogawa riverbank. The park also functions as a levee to prevent natural disasters.

There is a bicycle rental service on the 2nd floor of Building B of the Tourism and Culture Center adjacent to the Katsushika Shibamata Tora-san Museum (open weekends and national holidays, excluding New Year’s holidays). Cars are prohibited along the “Edogawa Cycling Road that runs along the levee, so you can safely enjoy a ride through the area.
