Minami-Ikebukuro Park
An urban oasis of lush, sprawling grass.
Walk 5 minutes from Ikebukuro station to find an expansive, wide open park. It’s concept is “the living room of the city”. The park is lit up at night, and its beautiful landscape is popular.
If you bring your own balls and paddles you can use ping pong tables, and for the little park goers there’s a playground for kids. However, please be aware that you cannot enter the lawn area during the grass maintenance period.
On the grounds you’ll also find Racines FARM to PARK, a bistro that aims to be a point of connection for food makers and consumers who are mindful about food.
