This themepark sits inside the Bandai Namco Amusement area, first opened Ikebukuro’s “Sunshine City” in Tokyo in 1996. The park houses 2 floors and 4 different areas to explore.

The first is the “Hugood!” area. It includes different sized arenas, a salon, and exclusive collaboration events. The second is “Dockingham Square”. True masters of play will love “Asobi Road”, Hapir the bluebird’s favorite spot “Unison Garden” and more. The third area is home to “Fukubukuro 7th Avenue Shopping Street”, recreating a retro Japanese street scape from the late 50s/early 60s. There’s also plenty for foodies to love, including “Namja Gyoza Stadium” where you can try gyoza from across Japan and the Fukubukuro Dessert Alley. The fourth area is “Princess Mononoke’s Grounds”, based on the concept from the Mononoke tale.

To top it off, directly next to NAMJATOWN you’ll find the capsule toy shop, “Gashapon Department Store, Ikebukuro Main Store”, for even more fun you won’t want to miss.

There are a lot of different attractions here, plus a Gyoza Stadium with dumplings from all over Japan. Pretty fun spot!
