Hakone Kowakien YUNESSUN
From hot springs to wine baths and hot spring water slides, there’s baths unlike anything you’ve ever seen before!
YUNESSUN is a hot springs theme park located in Hakone, the popular hot springs destination in Japan. The park is divided into two areas, the traditional hot springs baths at Mori no Yu and the Yunessun area for you to enjoy in your swimwear. The Yunessun area is further separated into 3 areas, each with their own unique baths for you to love.
The main attraction within the Mori no Yu area is the garden open air bath, offering sweeping views of Hakone’s breathtaking nature all around you. There’s even a collagen bath (ladies only) and a ceramic bath.
Throw on your swimsuit and prepare for some unique, out-of-the-box baths in the Yunessun area! For starters, there’s the pure red “wine bath”, the “coffee bath” made with Japan’s first drip coffee bath made by extracting the coffee grounds with onsen water at low temperatures. You are sure to have a time like none other here!
In the same Yunessun swimsuit area, there are baths where you can soak in all the rich Hakone nature around you. Some of the most popular are the scenic open-air baths and the larger than life “Rodeo Mountain” water slide, where you can go for a slide all year around thanks to its warm onsen waters. Just like the name suggests, the scenic bath features a breathtaking view over Sagami Bay.
