A store specializing in takeout of warabimochi (Japanese confection made from warabiko / bracken starch) opened in January 2022.
The store is a derivative of "Kissho Saryo", a sweets cafe centering on kinako (sweet roasted soybean flour), which has its roots in a confectionary teahouse dating back to the mid-Edo period.
The kinako from “Kissho Saryo”, which is made from carefully selected, roasted, and ground soybeans, and warabimochi based on the concept of "soft, melty and freshly prepared". They are made into various products and sold at the store.

The Warabimochi, made with premium quality warabiko (bracken starch), is cooked in the store and served freshly made every day.
The "Torori Warabimochi," one of the two main signature items on the menu, allows you to enjoy the elegant elasticity and smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture of real bracken starch.
Put the optional kinako or kuromitsu (brown sugar syrup) on top and enjoy the taste.
"Kinako Torori Warabiochi", another signature item, is a bite-sized Warabimochi covered with their tasteful kinako. In addition to the standard flavors such as deep roasted kinako and walnut, seasonal flavors are also available.
