Namikian
The menu offers a variety of creative soba and udon dishes that can only be enjoyed here.
This soba restaurant has been operating near Nishifu Station for more than 50 years.
The soba is carefully handmade every morning using a stone mill to grind the buckwheat, giving it a rich aroma and original flavor.
They use only domestically produced buckwheat flour, and their suppliers change according to the season, so you can check where the buckwheat flour of the day comes from at the store.
The recommended menu item, Musashi Fuchu Kofun Tendon, is priced at 1,500 yen for a la carte and 1,880 yen for a set meal with a choice of soba or udon.
The tempura rice bowl is served hot and topped with a large shrimp and seasonal Fuchu vegetables. The tempura is served in a hot bowl and the sauce is poured over the top after serving.
The menu name "Musashi Fuchu Kofun" and the shape of the bowl were inspired by a rare dome-shaped burial mound on a square base excavated near the restaurant.
The menu also includes a variety of creative dishes such as "Kurayami Curry Udon" topped with black sesame paste in honor of the "Kurayami Festival" held at the Okunitama Shrine.
In addition to soba, udon, and rice bowls, there is also a wide selection of alcoholic beverages.
