Last update :

The restaurant has a long history opened between the end of Edo period and the early of Meiji period (around 1853- 1868), was originally located on the Kobe area of Koshu road, and then moved several times, now standing in a residential area off the main street.

Dispite of convenience location being close to Fuchu station, there is an architected Japanese garden filled with old Japanese taste. The genuine Japanese cuisine is cooked by the chef who has been a chef in a famous hotel many times.

The eel in Unaju, which is a speciality of the restaurant, is strictly selected from caught in only Lake Hamana in Shizuoka Prefecture and the fish meat is so tender. Put Japanese seasoning, dried Sansho, on the meat, which makes it tastier.

You can choose among the following menu: Unaju (above), Unaju (normal), Unaju (extra special) in a limited quantity, and Pine course included 5 dishes of Sashimi, simmered dish, and Unaju (reservation only).
