It’s not the easiest place to find on foot from Fuchu Station, since it’s tucked away in a residential area. But as soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by a small Japanese-style courtyard that instantly helps you relax. The staff were also incredibly kind, with a warm, welcoming vibe that felt almost like being taken care of by a friendly older sister.

The most impressive part was definitely the eel rice bowl. Especially when the sauce was poured over the steaming hot rice, the aroma was amazing. Once you take a bite, the texture of the eel and the rich sauce blend together perfectly, and it honestly makes you want to keep eating bite after bite. Besides that, the other dishes were also consistently good. It’s definitely a place I’d want to come back to.
