Lilionte, choco-ne

“Lilionte" is a confectionery brand from Nara that was born from the idea of "bringing new and interesting souvenir sweets from Nara”. One of the most popular products here is "choco-ne", a new type of sweet that consists of crunchy ramune wrapped in rich flavored chocolate.

Before the company was founded, the idea of developing a sweet related to "Ramune" and "Chocolate", two of everyone’s favorite sweets, came to mind. The marriage was born from this idea. The sweet flavor of the chocolate and the sweet and sour taste of the ramune create an unprecedented harmony. It is recommended not only as a sweet treat, but also as an accompaniment to alcoholic beverages.

In line with the concept mentioned at the beginning of this article, the ingredients are also locally sourced. The chocolates are made with “Asuka Ruby” brand strawberries and Yamato matcha (green tea), and through "choco-ne" they continue to communicate the charms of Nara. Choco-ne is available at souvenir stores around Nara Station and various other stores in the prefecture.
