Spaghetti House Yokoi Sumiyoshi Main Shop

The home of Ankake Spaghetti, a Nagoya Special Dish.

Last update :

Ankake Spaghetti is a special Nagoya dish made with extra thick noodles and topped with a rich tomato sauce that’s steeped in plenty of spices. The popular shop that’s known for Ankake Spaghetti is Spaghetti House Yokoi. Here you’ll find a delectable plate made with plenty of meat and veggies, all rendered down for over a week into an original, peppery house sauce. The pasta noodles are as much as 2.2mm in diameter, before being dredged in a thick, gooey sauce to finish.

The menu is filled with a rich line up of toppings and combinations, making it easy to get lost. To start, there’s the standard Mirakan spaghetti, topped with sausages, ham, bacon, onion, green peppers and mushrooms. Another favorite among travelers is the Ebinese, a single dish mixing Ankake Spaghetti with a Nagoya famous topping of an “ebi fry” fried prawn.

At the shop you can even find Ankake Spaghetti sauce pouches and 2.2mm extra-thick pasta noodles for sale. With an extra long shelf life, you can enjoy taking these items home and looking forward to remaking the flavors at home.
