Michi-no-Eki Hachioji Takiyama

The only Michi-no-Eki in Tokyo sells vegetables and other products grown in Hachioji. It has a direct sales shop, a specialty store, a restaurant, and a café, and is used not only by tourists but also by local visitor.

"The Farm Takiyama," an agricultural products direct sales outlet, sells local agricultural products and livestock products and is well known as a place to enjoy locally produced, locally consumed food even in Tokyo. The store sells Hachioji vegetables such as "Hachioji ginger" and "Kawaguchi endo beans," a type of "Edo vegetable" that has been cultivated for over 300 years and has an array of freshly picked morning vegetables in the store.

At the "Osozai-Hachimaki-ya" store, women from farm families in Hachioji gather together to sell prepared foods made from Hachioji ingredients.　Its affordable prepared foods are cooked in a simple way that allows you to experience the original taste of the ingredients.
