A-FACTORY

A-FACTORY is a good place to stop by at the end of your trip in Aomori Prefecture. It is a spot where you can find a wide variety of foodstuffs, sundries, traditional crafts, and gourmet foods produced in Aomori.

Visitors can purchase food ingredients and specialty products at the Marché on the first floor. There are also restaurants and a food court that offer menus that fully use Aomori Prefecture ingredients, including a sweets store that uses fresh eggs from chickens raised on Aomori's land. Also, a galette restaurant on the second floor that uses Aomori buckwheat flour allows visitors to enjoy local gourmet food inside the facility.

The glass-walled cidery workshop on the first floor produces AOMORI CIDRE, an effervescent fruit wine made exclusively from carefully selected Aomori Prefecture apples, "Fuji" and "Jonagold". There is a tasting vending machine on the second floor, where visitors can compare the "Standard" with a clean taste, the "Sweet" with the sweetness of apples, and the "Dry" with its dry taste. You can purchase it at the Marché on the first floor if you like it. Apple soda is also available for those who don't like alcohol or for children. This spot alone is a great way to enjoy the charms of Aomori to the fullest.
