Performances are held daily at the Gion Kobu Kaburenjo Small Theatre, which is adjacent to the Gion Kobu Kaburenjo Theatre, a theater dedicated to the "Miyako Odori" dance performance that heralds the spring season in Gion. Seven of Japan's world-class traditional cultures and traditional performing arts can be viewed in a short one-hour performance. The seven performances include "Kyo-mai," a glamorous dance performed by maiko in gorgeous costumes; "Bunraku," designated as a UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage; "Kyogen," a comical expression of real-life society; "Bugaku", considered one of the world's oldest musical forms; "Sado (Tea Ceremony)"; "Kado," a Japanese flower arrangement; and "Sokyoku," a Japanese string instrument; plus a newly added "Noh Play". "Bunraku" and "Noh Play" performances are changed according to the time of the year.

In "flower arrangement," which currently has various schools and is popular worldwide, Ikenobo and Saga Go-ryu are performed daily. The tea Ceremony, which was founded by Sen no Rikyu and has had a profound influence on the life and culture of the Japanese people, will be performed in the Urasenke style of ryurei, a chair-sitting manner.

Many tours and school excursions use this site because it offers seven digest experiences of the charms of Japan's unique culture and performing arts. Come and experience traditional Japanese culture and performing arts that have been passed down from generation to generation since ancient times and have developed according to the times.
