Within a month of its grand opening in April 2023, the complex welcomed over a million visitors, quickly establishing itself as the new icon of Kabukicho. The building boasts 48 floors above ground, 5 below, and stands tall at 225 meters. The exterior design, inspired by fountains, wraps this enormous entertainment hub crafted around the concept of "mastering one's passions."

Carrying forward the legacy of the former Shinjuku Milano-za located in Kabukicho, the tower features the "THEATER MIRANO-Za", a theater with roughly 900 seats promoting various entertainment content. The complex also houses the "109 Cinemas Premium Shinjuku" cinema, with premium seating that's approximately 2.3 times larger than your standard movie theaters. Additionally, there's the "Zepp Shinjuku (TOKYO)" live hall and the nighttime entertainment hotspot "ZEROTOKYO".

The tower's higher floors are adorned with the luxurious "BELLUSTAR TOKYO, A Pan Pacific Hotel" boasting panoramic views, and the uniquely conceptual "HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU, A PARKROYAL Hotel", famous for its tatami-laid Japanese Suites.

With a flair of "Japanese Festivals", the vibrant alley, "Shinjuku Kabuki Hall ~ Kabuki Alley", stays abuzz almost 24/7, serving delicacies from all over Japan and popular street food. The dining facilities are vast and enriched. Each floor showcases art pieces by 26 contemporary artists, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the authentic atmosphere that Shinjuku Kabukicho, the epicenter of Japanese entertainment, offers.

There are plenty of entertainment facilities, shopping centers, restaurants, and even a movie theater here. You can shop, catch a movie, enjoy some great food, and take in the lively city views all in one place.

Maybe because I went on a weekday afternoon, the restaurants were almost empty. With all the flashy decor, it actually felt a bit lonely—maybe it was just me.
On the other hand, the movie theater was fantastic! The seats are super spacious and luxurious, really comfortable. The sound system is top-notch, and drinks and popcorn are included. Even though the price is a bit high, it was totally worth it!

Just checking in! I heard this place is mainly for foreign tourists, but honestly, I prefer spots that feel more local.

  • Beef Dining Wagyu Special Zone is a brand new restaurant from the high-end yakiniku chain Heijoen Group. If you love wagyu, you definitely have to try it!

  • Tokyu Kabukicho Tower has it all—hotel, food, and entertainment! The restaurants here are open 24 hours, and there are live music performances at night. If you want to experience Shinjuku's nightlife, you have to check this place out.
