Located not far from the Meiji Jingu Shrine is the "Shibuya Ward Yoyogi Pony Park", a unique spot in the heart of the city where visitors can interact with ponies.

During weekdays, there's a "Brushing Time" with the ponies, and on weekends and holidays, this session is held twice. There's also a "Carrot Time" during weekdays, where you can feed the ponies carrots. Both adults and children can participate in these sessions. However, if you wish to participate in "Carrot Time", you'll need to bring your own carrot sticks, as they are not provided in the park.

Children can also enjoy pony rides. Kids from 85cm tall up to 6th-grade primary students can experience "Leading Horse Riding", riding on their own. There's also "Parent-Child Riding" for toddlers aged 1-3, where they can ride with a guardian. However, for "Parent-Child Riding", the combined weight should be under 75kg, and it's limited to 10 pairs per session.
*Note that the "Parent-Child Riding" and "Leading Horse Riding" are paused during January, February, and July to September. Check the official website for details.

Given the ponies' gentle nature, visitors are reminded to avoid startling them and to ensure the animals are not stressed.
