Arima Onsen, one of Japan's three oldest hot springs, was beloved by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Make your way here for a time of ease in the "Ginsen” silver sourced springs known as one of Arima Onsen's two types of hot springs, with the other being the reddish-brown "Kinsen”. The silver Ginsen spring is rich in carbonic acid and radium, said to alleviate ailments such as nerve and joint pain, while leaving the skin smooth and hydrated after bathing.

Step inside to find a luxe bathhouse modeled after the rock baths where Toyotomi Hideyoshi is said to have bathed, featuring not only spacious tubs filled with Ginsen but also a "Vibra Bath" with gentle bubbles, a therapeutic waterfall bath, and a steam sauna. Equipped with body soap, shampoo, and hair dryers, and offering towels for purchase, this go to retreat is ideal for a drop-in even without supplies.

The exterior of the bathhouse gives a look and feel that blends in with the traditional atmosphere and sheer serenity of the nearby temples and shrines. As an added perk, its location just away from the busy center of the onsen town keeps a promise of quiet and a chance to soak away in the utmost of tranquility. A dual ticket with sister “Kin no Yu” hot spring is available for 1,200yen, offering access to both of Arima’s famous spring waters.
