Tairikitei
Enjoy exquisite cuisine featuring A5 grade black Wagyu beef and udon dishes while overlooking a traditional Japanese garden.
Located within the precincts of Kyoto's famous Nanzen-ji Temple, Tairikitei is a stately mansion with the "Soryu Garden," landscaped by the eleventh generation Ogawa Jihei. The mansion comprises four distinct dining spaces: "Higashiyama," "Nanzen," "Ohiroma," and "Hanare," each offering a unique view of the garden.
"Higashiyama" features counter seating with a direct view of the garden.
"Nanzen" offers a different perspective of the garden.
"Ohiroma" on the second floor overlooks the entire Soryu Garden.
"Hanare" is a private room where meat is grilled right before your eyes.
The menu includes courses and à la carte dishes featuring A5 grade black Wagyu beef, homemade udon made from a blend of domestic wheat flours, and homemade sweets like Warabimochi, perfect for a break during sightseeing.
The Chisen Kaiyu style Soryu Garden allows for leisurely strolls. Entering from the nearby circular gate of Nanzen-ji Temple, visitors can walk through the garden before reaching the building, enjoying the beautiful scenery of each season.
