Previously, it was possible to access the riverbank, but due to the risk of rockslides, entry to the river is now prohibited.
The area is home to brown bears (Higuma), so avoid visiting during their active hours at dawn and dusk. It’s advisable to make noise while walking to reduce the chance of encountering wildlife.
