Located at the entrance of the Horobetsu Area within Shiretoko National Park, this visitor center serves as a base for exploring the park's natural beauty. Step in to find essential information to get going on activities like hiking and trekking, including the latest updates on brown bear sightings and field conditions. The center is also well-equipped with outdoor gear for purchase or rental to enhance your Shiretoko experience.

It serves as a starting point for three walking routes:
・The Sika Fence Course: Approximately 1 km round trip, accessible from the Shiretoko Nature Center.
・The Furepe Waterfall Trail: A 2 km round trip route.
・The Kaitaku Koya Course: A longer 5 km round trip trail.

Inside the center you’ll find a large 12m x 20m screen in the theater, showcasing two films that highlight Shiretoko's natural wonders. A cozy café is also available, offering lattes made with Hokkaido milk and lunches prepared with local ingredients. With free Wi-Fi, it's a convenient and relaxing spot for visitors.
