In a residential neighborhood of Urasoe City, a retro American-style streetscape suddenly appears, filled with an especially international atmosphere even within Okinawa. Today, over 60% of its Approx. 60 buildings are home to distinctive shops, and the white single-story houses, colorful doors, and eye-catching signs along the quiet lanes create a photogenic setting.

You can enjoy food that blends Okinawan character with American culture, including a popular cafe known for brown sugar canelés and a diner serving all-you-can-eat popovers and garlic shrimp. The variety shops offer items perfect as travel keepsakes, such as yachimun pottery by local artists, Ryukyu glass, and original accessories.
