Shabu-shabu featuring Yamato beef and brand pork is the specialty here.

Supervised by :  Fukuden

A specialty restaurant for shabu-shabu and meat kaiseki in the charming streets of Naramachi. The building, renovated from a former residence over 100 years old, is a Japanese-modern space where wooden latticework, earthen walls, and beams remain, wrapped in a calm atmosphere.

The signature dish is shabu-shabu made with plenty of Nara brand meats such as Yamato beef and brand pork, along with fresh Yamato vegetables grown by local farmers. It is a special dish enjoyed with Fukuden’s house-made broth. Another highlight is the individual hot pot style, which lets you enjoy it at your own pace. The lunch menu, limited to 20 servings a day, offers a more affordable way to try it, while dinner features a wide variety of course meals that come with an aperitif, carefully prepared side dishes, seafood, and more.

A la carte dishes such as roast beef, lightly seared beef, and beef hamburger steak are also available. Be sure to enjoy them with local Nara sake such as Harushika and Yamatohime, or with wine.

In addition to counter seats, the restaurant also has private rooms renovated from a traditional storehouse, making it a great choice when you want to enjoy a quiet meal for business dining, celebrations, and other special occasions.
