Bistro Bordeaux

Located inside Nagasaki City’s Hamamachi Arcade, Bistro Bordeaux is a Western-style restaurant known as one of the originators of Turkish Rice, a beloved local specialty. Widely recognized as a must-visit spot for Nagasaki cuisine, the restaurant has been serving customers since its founding in 1987, using only carefully selected local ingredients. Fresh seafood from the nearby Nagasaki coast, locally grown vegetables, and premium A5-grade Nagasaki Wagyu are prepared with care and craftsmanship.

Its signature dish, Turkish Rice, features a unique combination of pilaf, pork cutlet, and tomato-sauce spaghetti, all topped with a rich demi-glace sauce. Guests can also customize their meal with curry or hashed beef sauce. In addition to this signature plate, the menu includes other Western favorites such as pizza, beef simmered in red wine, and doria sets.

The restaurant’s warm, wood-toned interior creates a relaxing atmosphere across its two floors, with about 60 seats in total. The second floor offers table and counter seating, while the third floor features private rooms with sofa seating and a bar counter.
