Mitsui Outlet Park Tama Minami Osawa
Located in Hachioji, Tokyo, Mitsui Outlet Park Tama Minami Osawa offers excellent accessibility by both car and train. It's about a 35-minute train ride from Shinjuku Station, and just a 2-minute walk from the nearest station, making it a convenient shopping destination.
The food court is pretty nice! You can get a full meal or just grab a coffee and relax for a while.
Cat Alley (Neko no Hosomichi)
Cat Alley, or Neko no Hosomichi, is the 200-meter narrow road that stretches from Ushitora Shrine in Nagae, an area of Onomichi City (Hiroshima). The road was started in 1998 when artist Shunji Sonoyama painted the “fukuishineko” lucky stone cats found along the road.
There are all kinds of cat-themed art along the street, like stone cat sculptures, murals, and wind chimes. It's so much fun to walk around and snap photos! You might even run into real cats here! They're super chill and not afraid of people at all. 😸
Umihotaru Parking Area
Umihotaru Parking Area is located at the midpoint of the Tokyo Bay Aqua Line, which connects central Tokyo and Chiba Prefecture’s Boso Peninsula. The parking area is built on a 650-meter-long artificial island.
This is my go-to hidden spot every time I visit Tokyo.
No crowds, so you can quietly watch the sunset or sunrise and listen to the sound of the sea. 😀
Aizu Ashinomaki Hot Spring Resort Hotel Ookawaso
Ashinomaki hot spring is located along the Okawa River valley, where the rapidstream had created strange rocks and cliffs, and is said to have been opened about 1,200 years ago. Facing the Agawa River, "Ookawaso" is a hot spring ryokan where guests can enjoy the beauty of the valley from their guest rooms and outdoor hot spring baths.
It looks exactly like a scene from Demon Slayer!

KITTE
Unique shops and eateries line this commercial complex, managed by Japan Post. The atrium on the first floor is striking with its open space, from which you can overlook the shops on each floor.
From the outdoor observation deck on the 6th floor, you get a clear view of the entire Tokyo Station.
Laforet Harajuku
The shopping spot opened in 1978 and has since become an icon of Harajuku. In Harajuku, where the number of young people aspiring to fashion, art and music is increasing, Laforet has helped turn the area into Japan’s center with the latest trends.
A shopping mall loved by young people. The clothing styles are super diverse and the vibe is really lively.
[Closed Down]Tamahide Ichino
This is a sister restaurant to "Tamahide" the long-standing chicken restaurant in Ningyocho established in 1760. They are also well known as the originator of chicken and egg on rice.
This is a sister restaurant to the famous Tokyo oyakodon shop. If you're at Tokyo Skytree, this is a must-try spot. The oyakodon uses gamecock, so the chicken is firmer, and even the soup comes with chicken meatballs.
Omotesando Hills
Featuring an impressive architectural design suited to Omotesando’s elegant and fashionable high street image, Omotesando Hills has been a landmark in the area since its opening in 2006.
Omotesando is sometimes called 'Little Paris.' The tree-lined avenue is full of high-end boutiques and cafes. Omotesando Hills especially stands out for its stylish and unique vibe, and the architecture by Tadao Ando is really impressive.
Shibuya Scramble Intersection
This is a scramble intersection in front of Shibuya Station. Said to be the world’s busiest crosswalk, it has become a famous sight to see in Tokyo. From the pedestrian bridge connecting the JR Yamanote Line and the Keio Inokashira Line, you can view the flurry of people crossing the intersection from above.
