Mt. Moriyoshi Ani Ski Resort

Mt. Moriyoshi at an elevation of 1,454 meters, the ski resort boasts an abundant amount of snow and high-quality powder snow. The gondola rides up to the summit station, located at an elevation of 1,200 meters, and long ski runs can be enjoyed all the way down to the foot of the mountain.

It’s way more spectacular in person than in photos. It’s hard to capture that vibe on a phone.
There were fewer people than at other popular “snow monster” spots, which was a big plus.

Katsurahama

Welcome to the sprawling coast of Kochi City’s Urado Penninsula between Cape Ryuzu and Cape Ryuo, lush with a beautiful pine forest, sandy beach and sea. This spot in Kochi Prefecture is especially popular for its bronze statue of Ryoma Sakamoto, a prominent historical figure during the end of Japan’s Edo period.

One of the most iconic scenic spots in Kochi Prefecture.
Besides the beautiful ocean views, you can also check out the Ryoma Memorial Museum and the aquarium. Watching the sunset from the mountain nearby in the evening is fantastic.

Izumo Taisha is one of the most revered, ancient shrines in Japan, along with Ise jingu Shrine. Its records go as far back as writings from the Kojiki, Japan’ oldest historical account compiled in 712. The deity enshrined here is Okuninushi no Okami, who is known as the deity of love and marriage.。

The shrine's architecture is really beautiful, especially the huge torii gate and the massive sacred rope. It's also said to be the most effective place to pray for good relationships.

Maruoka-jo Castle

In 1576, during the Warring States period, Katsuie Shibata had his nephew and adopted son, Katsutoyo, build this castle under the order of Nobunaga Oda. In the Edo period (1603-1867), Honda Narishige became the castle's lord, and the Maruoka clan was established. After that, the Arima clan was given the land and ruled the domain for eight generations. It is one of Japan's oldest existing castle towers and is designated as a national important cultural property.

As the oldest of Japan's 12 original castle towers and a designated national treasure, this wooden structure has been amazingly well preserved. Climbing the steep stairs with ropes is quite a thrilling experience!

The world flagship store is located along Namiki-dori Avenue in Ginza, an upscale shopping area in Tokyo. Here, visitors can experience MUJI's concept of proposing "sensible living" in all aspects of clothing, food, and housing from various angles.
