Uegusuku Castle Ruins
The Uegusuku Castle Ruins sit on Kume Island, around 100 kilometers west of Okinawa’s main island. Perched on the 310 meter-high summit of Uegusuku-Dake, the tallest point on Kume Island, the ruins are seated at the highest point of all castle ruins across Okinawa.
There's a metal walkway that takes you up to the highest point on Kume Island. The castle ruins themselves are just some broken walls, but honestly, the views of the ocean and the whole island are way more impressive...
